Because of the modern cement production craft and the equipment manufacture technology unceasing development, the production craft has already been changed, from the traditional production craft to new drying cement production craft. New drying cement production craft is the advanced cement production craft in the world, especially in reducing the energy consumption, enhances the output, reduces aspect and also on air pollution has the remarkable superiority. DCS could realize real-time surveillance, adjust the parameter of craft when the system is running. In order to adjust new drying cement production process, and also makes the system centralized management, controled unique feature, more easier to be operated. After 1990's,the DCS has been used more and more widely in new drying cement production in China. The information technology has promoted the cement industry technical level, the cement production factory management at the same time which makes great strides forward to the scientific style, also has brought the remarkable comprehensive benefit. In this paper ,wo will take new drying cement production in Yunnan Kaiyuan cement LTD 2000t/d as an example, in this case we use the model " control system dispersedly, manage system concentrate". In the control level we took Qutanium series PLC which from Shenaide as the scene control station and in the management level we took DELL commercial computer as the workstation, the whole system were connected by industry ethernet (Ethernet). Beside those, in the whole system,we got Windows 2000 as the operation system, Control level software is based on CONCEPT 2.5XL to realize 964 pionts switches the data acquisition, and also 277pionts interconnection controls, as well as adjusted the return route to 62 the surveillance control and the adjustment.In this paper, the emphasis is ①The hardware system integrated design, mainly solves the scene I/O signal to turn on PLC the I/O cabinet the antijamming and the reliable question; ②Communication network design: Main solution lower position machine and on position machine correspondence timeliness and stability problem. ③Application software design: Mainly solved the real-time database establishment, the technical process picture design, each kind has general operated the kneading board and the positioning indicator design question; ④Control level control software design: Mainly solves various types device control function module (standard module) programming as well as with on byte condition software correspondence question.The DCS system has been finished in May, 2004 and in June, 2004 officially throws transports, the system technical performance achieved the design request and the system until now stabilizes moves, causes the production line to reach produces reaches the sign.
