J2ee-based Multi-agent Network Teaching System Design And Research

Current, network teaching has become a hotspot in investigation, but still faces many problems nowadays. First, they lack guidance of the advanced study theory. Second, the functions of active interaction in existing instruction system are not strong enough, and most of them are given mainly to present the instruction materials. Three, the system's intelligence is lower. Four, the testing and evaluating functions of the system are not good enough. Five, there is not an effective guide to students in existing system. Furthermore, in the main constructions of existing network teaching systems are C/S constructions, causing that the client end is too huge. And the resident program may operate the client end at will, causing that the unsafe factors of the system are added. At the same time agent technique now is placed in the rise period. Agent perceives the information from itself and the environment around it, taking actions to realize a series of targets or missions that set up in advances. It's thinker makes software agent been an intelligence and independence with strong ability. Therefore, applying the technique of agents to long range teaching can overcome the localizations and shortages of the current long range education on the net.The network teaching system in this paper was based on Multi-Agent technology, instructed by the constructive theory. The function of active interaction in existing instruction system has been improved effectively and the system realizes the individualized teaching to some extent. Consequently network-teaching quality has been improved.This thesis has summarily analyzed the network teaching system development background, the present situation and the future tendency. Aimed at situation of the present network teaching system, we introduce the Agent technology and expatiate on Agent technology,Multi-Agent network technology and J2EE technology. On the basis of this, I construct a Multi-Agent network teaching system. The thesis illustrates in detail the system's theory basis, design thought, function characteristic, software realization and so on. Through the further research of Multi-Agent and J2EE, we put forward a new method which integrates the Multi-Agent technology to construct network teaching system under the J2EE platform. We realize it under the J2EE technical support. To some extent this network teaching system realizes the individualized teaching and provides more intellectualized, more convenient, highly effective network-learning environment for more and more learners.
