A key principal in the high school new curriculum is the substantial reform in the way of teaching and learning, with the ultimate aim to prompting the students' change in their learning ability. The new curriculum requires the reform of the way of learning, which in turn is an important symbol of the quality education, and a key stage and signal of curriculum reform as well. Therefore, it is very important to lead the students to learn autonomously and to study efficiently.There are four aspects to prompt the students to learn autonomously: students' sense of autonomy, the harmonious relationship between the students and the teachers, the good learning environments and students' strong requirement in learning. There are seven ways to train students' self-regulated learning ability: constructing good learning environment, inspiring students' requirement of learning during the class, transferring their learning ability after the class, training, pre-study before the class, dialogs during the class and expanded learning after the class.The new curriculum has upset the old one. To adapt to the characteristics of the curriculum' s new structure and our using teaching material in Jiangsu, new teaching model is constructed upon improving students' self-regulated learningability, and will take the training of the students' self-regulated learning in action. The present thesis introduces the teaching models of "text study" , "activity experience" , "problem exploring" in the required courses, and the models of using both of the information technology and the normal teaching means, of teaching in the internet class and of learning as doing research in the optional courses. Involving students' self-regulated learning in the study of the new teaching model will guarantee the students as the center of learning, will build a bridge between the students' learning activity and their knowledge construction, and will integrate the self-regulated learning and the class teaching in open.
