The thoughts of the "New Chinese Teaching" is really a perplexing problem. The whole paper consists of four parts, which conduct research into the connotation, the academic and practical value as well as the ingathering and self-examination of "New Chinese teaching".The paper intends to make a brief expatiation from four aspects: one nature, two basic principles, three vigilances and six philosophies. "New Chinese Teaching" itself, fundamentally, is a kind of "spiritual education" and the basic principals of Chinese teaching are as follows: applying energies to spirit, language, and thus certainlybenefiting language competence.In the first section of the second part of the paper, we made an expatiation about thebackgrounds of "New Chinese Teaching". In the second section, we further elaborate on the nature of "New Chinese Teaching". In the third section, the paper conducts a thorough research into the theoretical significance of the "New Chinese Teaching".The paper analyzes the practical significance of the "New Chinese Teaching" in four aspects. In terms of the selection of the Chinese textbook, in terms of the specialization of Chinese teachers, in the Chinese teaching process, and the insufficient of "New Chinese Teaching" .
