Human's illogicality production movement brought several Environmental matters while science and technology and productivity has improved ,which counteract the long-term development of society and improvement of life quality ,so much as human being's exist and development. The key to solve Environmental matter is to improve people's Environmental consciousness.Guided by The theory of sustainable development and pedagogics and psychology , This thesis research on approach to bring up environmental consciousness in high school education .the research use for reference overseas and on inland , and used it in practical senior high school geography instruction . Firstly ,The author analyze the matters of environmental education in our country ,bring forward that we should take accurate Environmental values, ethics as final goals to bring up environmental consciousness in education. Based on that goals , the author select the freshman in senior high school as study object, explore environment consciousness cultivating approaches for geography instruction in senior high school ,and the approaches' instruction effect to improve student's environment consciousness.Through the study and instructional practice , the thesis put forward that middle school geography subject is important field of fostering environment consciousness. Then the paper summarize the relevant content of environment consciousness fostering in senior high school geography subject, analyze the basic principles of fostering environment consciousness. Then sum up the basic approaches of fostering environment consciousness which including classroom infiltrate , ,practice movement after school etc. At last ,the author put forward several problems which we should pay attention to in process of fostering environmental consciousness. The investigation to environment consciousness proves that it can be improved of the students' cognition of environmental knowledge and environmental status , environmental value idea , consciousness of attaching oneself to environmental protect through several approaches. At the same time , environmental consciousness fostering can facilitate the improvement of student's synthesis literacy and teacher's instructional ability .
