| On october 24,2015,the State Council issued the circular on the overall plan for promoting the construction of world-class universities and disciplines in a coordinated way,in which the scheme proposed five construction mission"to build first-class teaching staff,to cultivate top creative talents,to enhance the level of scientific research,to inherit and innovate outstanding culture,to promote the transformation of achievements ",among them,the construction of first-class teaching staff is the most important and fundamental" Double First-rate" construction task.In a university,the first-class faculty is the key to the development of first-class disciplines,the creation of first-class results and the cultivation of first-class talents.Academic leaders are one of the most important human resources of a university and the group that reflects the core competence of a university.As the organizer and leader of the discipline construction,theacademic leader should not only be knowledgeable,academically profound,paying attention to innovation,and so on,but also take on important tasks such as strengthening the discipline construction and promoting the development of the discipline.Among them,the academic leadership of academic leaders plays a crucial role.At present,the academic leadership gradually become a hot research topic in the f ield of national higher education,the domestic research about academic leadership is sti ll in its infancy,existing achievements in academic leadership are limitde,only for acad emic leadership of the presidents,uteachers,postgraduate tutor.But the academicleadershi p of university discipline research is almost blank.Therefore,the definition of the conn otation and structural dimension of academic leadership of academic leaders in universit ies is the basis of relevant research.Firstly,this paper adopts the method of literature research to sort out the connotation and related theories of leadership,as well as relevant research results on the connotation and structural dimensions of academic leadership at home and abroad.Secondly,the connotation of academic leadership of academic leaders in universities is defined by comparative analysis of the similar concepts of academic leadership of academic leaders in universities.Thirdly,word frequency analysis was used to summarize,sort,split,merge and eliminate the high-frequency words in 43 literatures including the ability,quality and competence of academic leaders in universities,and the four structural dimensions of academic leadership of academic leaders in universities were preliminarily concluded.Finally,four structural dimensions were verified by questionnaire survey,and the results were analyzed to obtain the final structural dimensions of academic leadership of university academic leaders,namely,teaching leadership,scientific research leadership,organizational coordination,and personalitytraits. |
