During the long history, classical Chinese once played a very important role. It was the Classical Chinese that made our country with a vast territory and multi-dialects unified by written Chinese. Considered as the written form, Classical Chinese was loaded with gorgeous civilization covering thousands of years. Classical Chinese is a large thesaurus. Had not been Classical Chinese, the Chinese centuries-old culture would not have been passed down from generation to generation. As a carrier of ancient Chinese culture, the value of Classical Chinese itself is beyond measure, which is always holding the balance in Chinese teaching. As for the majority of middle school students, only during this period do they learn Classical Chinese. Therefore, the important effects of the Classical Chinese teaching is achieved on the following aspects, such as breeding students awareness of Chinese culture, improving their human quality and carrying on the past and opening a way for future. This essay mainly focuses on the approaches and patterns of the Classical Chinese teaching in high school with the teaching of Classical Chinese in high school as the research subject and combining with the teaching experience coming from text Classical Chinese Reading published by the People Educational Press.Speaking of Classical Chinese classroom teaching, Classical Chinese Teaching is the weakest part in quality-oriented education. In the traditional teaching, many teachers think the detailed teaching as a most valuable way, while in students' eyes, it is headachy. Spoon-feeding ways fill in the classroom teaching. Some teachers pay far more attention to the explanation to the words; some seldom help students realize the emotion in the passage; some don't have any strict programs or organized processes lack of creation... These kinds of teaching lead to many inefficiencies. Such as, the separation of learning and teaching, without any interaction between teachers and students. The above prevent students from showing their own opinions and creations, making these masterpieces into some unacceptable ones. What can we do to make the best use of the time in class, to inspire the students to be interested in Classical Chinese Teaching and to avoid the regular but boring teaching methods?
