This research compares Nanjing junior students' conception about mathematics by using the self-designed "learning view of mathematics among junior students questionnaire". This questionnaire contains three dimensions : learning attitude of mathematics, conception about the nature of mathematics, the beliefs of knowledge learning process in maths. Inspections indicate that the questionnaires are of validity ,so it can be an useful measurement tool for the research . The results showe: Nanjing Junior students' conception about mathematics are overly constructive ; There are no differences at the dimension of conception about mathematic among students of different sex; The students' conception about mathematics go down gradually as they move to higher grades; There're remarkable differences at the dimension of conception about mathematics among the students of different performance; Among the students of different schools there're remarkable differences at conception about mathematics, but there're no differences at the dimension of the believes of knowledge learning process in maths. Based on the metioned results , In teaching process teachers are required to assure students' independent and pay attention to training students' mathematical communicative ability, should properly eases the students' mathematical learning pressure, should attach importance to the transformation of the conception about mathematics of low performance...
