As an ultimate concern to human's life-world, philosophy may confront with a mission of specialization and provincialization. Similarly, the philosophy of education, as a specific philosophy, may take on the mission specifically. To some extend, the present "learning-style society" and "retreating teaching to living" are reflections to the trend, which is characterized as the evolvement from the philosophy of education to the philosophy of teaching.In reaction to the trend, a "teaching-living theory" was attempted to emphasize in the study. Firstly, emphasizing on the "teaching-living theory", the reality and existence of teaching-life was confirmed in the study. Consequently, with an analysis into the time-level relationship between education and life, the study was progressed to a "life angle". After that, to make the philosophy of education more systemic, the study was forwarded to a space-level, a teaching vs. life relationship. Therefore, teaching was taken as a special life, which was originated from life-world. Finally, the orientation and target of teaching was speculated to a "scientific life".Consequently, the thesis was explicated through the following four parts. In the first part, the basic theory and method of "teaching-living theory", the reality and existence of teaching-life was confirmed. That is to say, the possibility of the theory was ensured. The second part is the concept of education vs. the present and the future living. In this section, education was considered as a kind of life, which bears certain responsibility to both present and future life. On basis of that, the present learning transformation was well analyzed. The third part stresses on the concept of teaching vs. life-world. The relationship among teaching, daily life and scientific life was investigated. And teaching was regarded as a special life, which was seriously dissimilated by the pure scientism. In the last part, constructing the life of scientific teaching was discussed. And the tendency of teaching was speculated as a "scientific life". Further more, the responsibility of teaching life to the human world was brought forward.
