In order to further improve the teaching quality of high school ideological and political course and implement the basic task of "Building Morality and cultivating people",the Ministry of Education published the standard of Ideological and political course in general high school in 2018.The new curriculum reform requires teachers to select the cases related with students' lives,which help them to apply the theories in practice.Therefore,the teaching method that combines with the life model is more important and necessary for students.However,there are still some problems in the modules of application in the book of Life and Philosophy,which make an effect on the quality of teaching.Thus,it is a key point for teachers to explore the issues that exist in the book and to figure out the solutions.In that case,students will access more highly teaching quality and they are able to fit the society better.This paper studies the application of life-oriented teaching method in the class of Life and Philosophy,combining with my internship experience in schools.The methods of the questionnaire,interview,literature analysis and classroom observation will be adopted in the paper.First,I will describe the definition of the life-oriented teaching method.Moreover,Marxist practice view,Dewey's pragmatism education theory and Tao Xingzhi's life education theory that based on relevant research literature at home and abroad will provide evidence for the study.Through reviewing the literature,I will analyze the significance of using life teaching in life and philosophy.In addition,the paper analyzes the current situation of using life-oriented teaching method in life and philosophy according to the results of the questionnaire and interview.And then describing problems from various aspect like teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching content and the status of students and teachers.At the same time,it analyzes the existing problems from the perspectives of theoretical research,material selection,implementation environment,teachers' ability,etc.mainly from the aspects of imperfect theoretical research of Life-based teaching,inappropriate selection of material for life-based teaching,poor implementation environment of Life-based teaching,lack of professional quality and organizational ability of some teachers,etc.Then,combining with the related theory and teaching practice experience of Ideological and political education,the corresponding optimization strategies are put forward,such as establishing the goal of life-oriented teaching,promoting the integration of life materials and teaching content,designing the life-oriented teaching process,optimizing the life-oriented teaching methods,constructing the life-oriented Teaching evaluation mechanism,encouraging teachers to participate in continuing education and training,etc.Finally,taking the second box of Lesson 8,unit 3 of life and philosophy as a case study,this paper studies the specific application of life teaching in life and philosophy teaching.
