The curriculum reform emphasizes that the teaching content should be integrated with social life and connected with students’ life experience, and emphasizes independent, cooperative and inquiry in the learning style. Therefore, the author proposes to integrate the concept of living into the physics classroom, which is to use a variety of living resources and students’ experiences to integrate,so that students are willing to investigate, dare to investigate, and know what to do.And the classroom will be extended to broaden the learning channels and gradually develop students’ scientific inquiry ability.First,we checked the online literature on "life-oriented concept" and "scientific inquiry ability development" to understand the related concepts and research trends at home and abroad, and proposed the topics to be studied. After that,a questionnaire survey was conducted on students, and the results were compiled and analyzed: students’ interest in living and scientific inquiry in the physics classroom was high, but the level of scientific inquiry ability needed to be improved.Interviews with teachers revealed the following problems in teaching: teachers focused on knowledge and neglected the development of ability;the teaching of lifelike was seriously formalized;when conducting investigations, teachers followed the instructions and students followed the directions. To address the above situation, the author proposes a series of teaching principles and specific strategies based on the concept of lifelike teaching to effectively improve students’ scientific inquiry skills.Based on the research, the author used the content of "Pressure" and "Liquid Pressure" in the second book of the eighth grade of the Human Education Edition as the basis for the experimental class teaching design and teaching practice. Finally,a paper-and-pencil quiz was administered through student and teacher interviews to investigate students’ scientific inquiry skills. The overall analysis showed that the concept of student-based teaching had a positive effect on the development of students’ scientific inquiry ability. In summary, infusing a life-oriented philosophy into physics education is of great importance in cultivating students’ scientific inquiry skills. It can be widely accepted and implemented in schools for a long period of time.
