In order to adapt to the request of quality education and train student's perfect morality, I have researched the inquiry learning method used for middle school classroom teaching, especially for history classroom teaching, thereby I applied it to practice.While researching, I have not only plunged into the theoretical study to large numbers of books and journalism, but also pooled the wisdom of students and education colleagues by questionnaire and delivery, thereafter a new approach exerted can be available and applied in teaching.By analyzing the characteristics of the era, in light of which, as all have been known, the negative effect has been found in our traditional teaching, especially in the history teaching, we find out it quite necessary to document, expound and ultimately develop the inquiry learning approach in the classroom teaching. We need to burrow the theoretical basis to develop inquiry learning method in the classroom teaching and comprehend its connotation. Therefore this article discusses a serial of feasible principles and tactics of developing inquiry learning approach in middle school history classroom teaching , by which its standard framework has been formed. Moreover this thesis also explains and analyses the feasible and practical cases of developing inquiry learning in the classroom teaching.This researching indicates that the core of inquiry learning in the classroom teaching is the questions involved in teaching and in thinking as well as activity situation. The basic character is the inseparability between situation and recognizing main body, that is to say new and unknown knowledge are necessarily revealed in question situation; the question situation is sine qua non of producing cognizing requirement of student as cognizing main body to new knowledge. The question situation causes intense collision and interaction between old knowledge and new knowledge, exposes the insufficient of old knowledge, stimulates thelearner's strong desire to mutually explore, discover and assimilate new knowledge, which makes the thinking advance and coincide with teaching. The target of inquiry learning method is not "yesterday" of students' developments, but "tomorrow"; not makes students acquire new knowledge, improve original cognized framework, but far more important, is to cultivates students' ability of solving problems, help their creative potentialities and learn to cooperate with others. The goal of this method being and to be applied is to realize the dialectical unity of teaching and development and ultimately make human beings advance.This research and application has achieved better effect. Inquiry learning method benefits both teachers and students that can make their progress mutually. It can cultivate outstanding qualified personnel, can accordingly be a vigorous challenge to traditional teaching methods and people who accept such education.
