The new curriculum reform requires that we should change the teaching mode of acceptance, and the Inquiry-based learning should be given priority,and the talent training mode in the past is also should be changed. Inquiry-based learning in accordance with students' cognitive characteristics, knowledge base and the rule of the understanding. In terms of the characteristics of history, inquiry-based learning is more conducive to students mastery of historical knowledge,it is able to guide students to practice in a better way,and it also can help students set up the correct values of emotional attitude."Research method instruction" is refers to the guidance of learning methods, the meaning is through certain teaching process, educators import study method of teaching to the educatees,and inspire them in study method of teaching. The purpose of what they do is to make educatees to master scientific learning methods, and then applied to the specific learning, thus making educatees gradually form strong ability of self-study, from "want me to learn" into "I want to learn". Teachers in the process of develop inquiry-based learning, is essential to the students to carry on the research method instruction. Applying the research method instruction into high school history teaching plays an importment role in promoting students' learning ability, cultivating students' innovation consciousness and innovation ability. At tht same time,it also plays an importment role in promoting the comprehensive development of students.Meanwhile,it is of great significance to improve teaching quality.Based on the "inquiry learning" and "research method instruction, the article expounded the exploratory study of history and the main content of the research method instruction. It also combined with teaching practice,and used the questionnaire data to analysis the exploratory study research method instruction of high school history, and attempted to put forward the research method instruction on the implementation of the strategy.The purpose of this study was in order to carry out the history research method instruction of inquiry-based learning better in high school, and search for some more effectively ways to serve the history teaching, and cultivate talents in today's social development in a better way.
