Research On The Development Strategy Of Sports Tourism Industry In Dali Based On SCP Analysis

With the influence of Beijing Olympic Games, people’s enthusiasms for sports have been growing. As a new industry, the sports tourism of Dali is the mainstream trend and the great contention of the future development of Dali’s tourism, as well as a new growth point during the socioeconomic development of Dali. Market–oriented and being planned scientifically, Dali’s sports tourism takes full advantage of physical education tour resource and enhances the cooperation of Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture and the Sports Department. Also, through a range of actions, including the characteristic of sports project selection, sports tourism products development, sports events holding, market main body cultivation, the construction and consummation of sports tourism facilities, the construction of sports tourism network, and sports facilities supporting and so on, it shapes the tourism destination image of “The Ease Dali, The Outdoor Paradise”, shooting to turn Dali into the China Sports Tourism Resort.By looking up some related documentaries, there is merely one article analyzing Chinese sports tourism industry by using SCP; but the only one can’t give useful suggestions to the development of Dali’s sports tourism according to the characteristics and facts of Dali. Located in the southwestern China, the Minority Autonomous Prefecture---Dali varies differently in economy and culture etc; however the passage’s too wide and macroscopical research has no representativeness. Through document researches, questionnaire surveys and logical analysis and other methods, this paper makes a deep analysis of the current situation, structure, conduct, performance of Dali’s sports tourism by using SCP and results that Dali’s sports tourism’s structure has low centralization degree, serious cannibalization, approaching invisible entry barrier; its conduct has price behavior based on market prices, simple marketing modes, and no sense of innovation, and its performance has low resource allocation efficiency, high earning ratio, sports tourists’ adequate satisfaction and huge space for enterprises growth. In the meantime, Dali’s sports tourism summarizes a series of problems in the following aspects, including management system, public service system, laws and regulations, infrastructures, resource development, product structure, marketing modes, security and professionals in its own development.On the basis of comprehensive analysis, in consideration of the realities of Dali’s sports tourism development, the paper proposes some reasonable and admissible suggestions for the development of Dali’s sports tourism from the angle of industry support system public service system resource, market, products, environment, and development route and provides some evidences for the development and planning of Dali’s sports tourism for some departments so as to advance the development of Dali’s sports tourism benignly and scientifically.
