With the new curriculum reformation generalizing, the curriculum integration has became a trend for educational curriculum reformation all over the world. At the beginning of the 21 st century, China has made a series of basic educational reform which emphasized on breaking boundaries between subjects and following the development of curriculum reformation. The geography, as a comprehensive subject which covers naturology and humanism, counts a lot on reforming curriculum integration and cultivating students’ core literacy. This paper is to discuss the strategy of building students’ historical geography view in geographical teaching. It is based on era background and the current senior high school geographical teaching characteristics. It is also related to the tradition that history cannot separate from geography and the history which is closely connected with geography. It will be appreciated if it could be helpful for senior high school geography teacher to achieve integrative teaching style and improve the quality of educational system. And the students could benefit from it by perfectly understanding the interaction of time and space and improving their ability to analyze and solve geographical problems.The paper is to discover the historical knowledge, discuss how to use it into high school teaching of geography and to build students’ historical geographical view, which based on arranging Senior Geography New Curriculum Standard, Senior Geography Curriculum Textbook(PEP edition) and the college entrance examination liberal arts comprehensive test. The paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction. This part is mainly about the background of historical geography view and the current situation about the research that scholars have made at home and abroad. By combining the disciplines characteristics of history and geography, drawing on results of previous studies, we give some definition about historical geography view. It also introduces some pieces of theories and principles related to building strategy of historical geography view, such as the construction in educational psychology, interdiciplinarity principles and so on. The second part is the main part of the paper. Firstly, the paper discusses the feasibility to build historical geography view in senior geographical education. Secondly, the paper lists several specific strategies of building historical geography view and analyzes some cased related to it. At last, try to give tentative suggestions about the process of building historical geography view. The third part is the conclusion. In the end, the paper conveys the final conclusion and tentative analysis of its deficiency for a perfect and through result.Through the questionnaire survey to part of the high school geography teachers and students and the analysis of necessity and significance, the paper discusses the feasibility of historical geography view in the current high school geography teaching. Interpretation of the Senior Geography New Curriculum Standard, combing the Senior Geography Curriculum Textbook(PEP edition) about knowledge of history involved in compulsory one, compulsory two, compulsory three. It also analysis and interpretation of the college entrance examination liberal arts subject of comprehensive questions involved in historical geographyknowledge in recent years. Through the strategy analysis and case analysis, the paper draws the effectiveness of the historical geography view’s construction strategy. After all, the related study of curriculum integration in China starts late and the research on the new geographical thinking of historical geography view is not yet mature, so build student’s historical geography view in high school geography teaching is not an overnight work, which requires the general scholars and front-line teachers, and the joint efforts of the social people from all walks of life. The historical knowledge effectively applied to the practice of geography teaching as soon as possible and constructing students’ historical geography view, to cultivate comprehensive talent requirement in the new century.
