Poetry is called “literature of literatureâ€. Modern poetry is a set of modern poetic language created by Chinese modern poets, formed on the basis of classic poems and western poetry art, developing new arts from the old yet is still growing. Teaching modern poetry, however, has been neglected for a variety of reasons in middle school Chinese teaching, which we could not overlook and let it be.This paper aims to do relative research based on the significance of modern poetry teaching on the innovative values, which were brought by various modern poetry schools during the process of poetry development. Two teaching cases have been studied whereof, including Lane in the Rain and A Two-masted Boat from the textbooks published by People’s Education Press and Shanghai Education Press.Thus found, modern poetry accounted less proportion in teaching material,uneven distribution, over-reliance on the classic table of poetry, live far away from the new site. Modern poetry unit in People’s Education Press and Shanghai Education Press are arranged as special topics. While in Shanghai Education Press, modern poetry unit in secondary school are arranged as the growth track of adolescents, which is distinctive, senior middle school arrange in the light of theme. However, the arrangement of after-school exercise mainly according to topics and images, assisted with language and content, with few focus on techniques, structures, rhythms or artistic conception, in addition, after-school exercise do not possess the characters of modern poetry.At the same time, by the cases of teaching the two modern poems can be summarized of the modern poetry teaching : firstly, we can contrast with classical poetry, yet during which, when we compare these two, we must pay attention to the influence brought by western poetry art and we must be innovative after inheriting traditional culture. Secondly, we can summarize the interpretation strategy based on the characters of modern poetry school or different poets. |
