| Study of occupation burnout research began in1970s, first proposed by theAmericans Fedden Berg. From this period, burnout research became the objects ofmany scholars. A large number of scholars describe occupation burnout’s causes andresults from different career angles. Although there are many related burnoutp o i n t s, e m p i r i c a l e v i d e n c e s a r e r a r e a n d c o n c e p t s a r e a m b i g u i t y.Since the1980s, burnout has more focused research in all areas. Scholars haveexplored the mode of occupation burnout providing conclusive evidence for a varietyof variables; Research methods also began to diversify to be a more accurateconceptual and methodological tool for burnout study. Especially theMaslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) put the study into a more scientific level.The study mainly focused on the group of middle school PE teacher in YunnanProvince, Composed by teacher burnout measuring table and influencing factorsquestionnaire. It designed to investigate the current status and the factors of Yunnanmiddle school PE teacher burnout, then analyze the survey results by SPSS softwareto make recommendations on the main factors affecting teacher burnout, whichmainly come to the following conclusions and suggestions:This study focuses on theoccupation burnout of PE teacher of middle school in Yunnan. By the method ofcarrying out survey from middle school PE teachers in Yunnan is in order toinvestigate the current status and the factors of middle school PE teacher burnout,which is analyzed and studied to make a few suggestions to alleviate burnout. Amongthem, burnout in emotional exhaustion dimension doesn’t exist in middle school PEteachers which are on the upper level of income. The rest teachers have obviouslyemotional exhaustion burnout whether analyzed from the gender, age, title, family,region and economic conditions. Yunnan school PE teachers’ burnout in personalizeddimension is generally low. The comparisons crowd teaching in the city have obviousburnout, while the age below30years old and over45years old unmarried teacherswhich is senior titles and in low income level is a slight burnout. In terms of personalachievement, male teachers are slightly higher than female teachers, the older hashigher personal achievement, teachers with the title of senior also reflects the highestpersonal achievement. The teachers in the city have higher personal achievement thanthe county and rural teachers, married families have also a higher sense of personal achievement than teachers unmarried, among them the upper level of income of theteachers show the highest personal achievement sense of values in all of thecomparison groups. To alleviate burnout in middle school teachers should be mainlyadjusted from three aspects, which is to regulate adverse factors in schoolenvironment, to strengthen teachers’ ability to adapt to the environment and toestablish teacher support system to improve personal achievement, thus effectivelyalleviate the situation of our Province middle school PE teachers’ occupation burnout. |
