A Study Of Factors Affecting Technical And Vocational Education And Training In Lao People’s Democratic Republic

Technical and Vocational Education and Training is a means of increasing employment and earning capacity of people through skill development which significantly contributes to socio-economic development of the Lao People Democratic Republic(Lao PDR).Hence,this thesis focuses on factors affecting Technical and Vocational Education and Training(TVET)as well as how to carry out Lao’s society towards sustainability by the application of TVET.The goal of the study is to find out the issues on TVET.Factors affect TVET in Lao PDR,and how to strengthen and sustainable TVET in Lao PDR.Based on research questions TVET of Lao PDR related literature review data collection for interview outline was developed and interviewee with 11 people from the different schools and departments of Laos.The research will help to understand the systems of TVET and the social contexts in addition of TVET in Lao PDR,the levels of responsibility to TVET of Lao government,the quality of TVET,limited budget for operations and investment;the quality of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Lao PDR,In the lens of the key aspects,of the three goals.It later provides with recommendations based on the challenges into TVET and the presented key aspects for TVET in Lao PDR to achieve the vision of success.
