| The teaching of reading is an important dimension of Chinese teaching. Since the reform of new curriculum, Chinese teaching curriculum standards have proposed new regulations for reading. However, the teaching of reading always have problems. At the same time, since the reform of new curriculum, Jiangsu emerged a large number of aggressive teachers. They are not only theoretically presents unique views for teaching reading, but also rely on their own front-line teaching strengths. They are also in an effort in combining theory and practice to promote the reform and development of the teaching of reading.This thesis is mainly composed of three parts:introduction, body and conclusion.The introduction part explains the origin and significance of this research study. This part affirmed the exist of the diverse views of teaching reading from Jiangsu middle school teachers, and also see the need to reform the teaching of reading. This study is based on the field of teachers’ education, and will help promote the development of the research of both famous teacher and reading teaching. Moreover, it will provide a reference for professional growth of teachers and teacher education. In addition, the introduction part also made a review of the research of Jiangsu famous teacher and explain the methodology of this paper.The body part is divided into three chapters. First of all, the first chapter combs the new regulations on the teaching of reading in the new curriculum, and indicates the problems in the teaching of Chinese reading. The second chapter selects representative views of teaching of reading from teachers in Jiangsu to explore the individuality of their views and found their same pursuit of values and practice principles. At last, this chapter also evaluates these views on the whole. The third chapter is based on a practical level. It examine how teachers practice their teaching ideas through instructional design, teaching and so on. Moreover, it discovers the plight of teachers’teaching practice with a critical eye in order to promote teaching reflection and make the theory and practice better integrate.The conclusion summarizes this paper. It recognizes the contributions from Jiangsu famous teachers to the development of theory and practice of the teaching of reading. Meanwhile it faces difficulties, the future, and expect more frontline teachers can constantly seek to promote the reform and development of the teaching of Chinese reading. |
