Literary masterpieces are a bright pearl in the long history,which embodies and inherits t he essence of human culture.Reading masterpieces can cultivate our temperament and mind,and it is of great benefit to our lives.The guide part of the textbook is composed of four parts:the summary of the main contents,the guidance of reading methods,the exploration of topics and the recommendation of independent reading,which increases the amount of reading and perfects the guidance for students in reading masterpieces.The textbook specially emphasizes the cultivation of students' interest in reading,pays attention to the extension of reading to ext racurricular,and requires students to read close to life and feel life.These are helpful for stude nts to appreciate masterpieces and taste classics.In the teaching of guide reading of famous b ooks,we should adopt multiple teaching methods to cooperate with the psychological develop ment characteristics of junior high school students,so as to guide students to improve their Ch inese literacy and improve their interest in reading.At present,there are some problems to be solved in the teaching of guide reading of famous books.This paper makes a deep study on it by using the methods of literature research,case study and investigation.The author finds that when teachers carry out the teaching of guide reading of famous books,the guiding methods are not appropriate,the guidance is not enough and the plan is not systematic enough,which i s mainly manifested in the fact that some teachers pay insufficient attention to the teaching of guide reading of famous books,while the students pay less attention to the reading interest of famous books,the lack of reading time and the poor reading environment,which is mainly ma nifested in the lack of enthusiasm of some students in reading famous books.In order to solve these problems,this study puts forward feasible improvement strategies from the two aspects of teaching and learning.In the aspect of teaching,teachers should improve their teaching abil ity,use many kinds of teaching methods of guide reading,and arrange the teaching activities o f many kinds of famous books to carry out systematic teaching.In the aspect of learning,stud ents should reduce utilitarian thought,create reading atmosphere and understand the connotati on of famous works,so as to ensure the maximization of the teaching value of famous books.It is hoped that this study can provide help to the teaching of front-line teachers,so as to prom ote the application of guide reading teaching in junior high school practice.
