Is unceasingly thorough along with our country new curriculum reform and quality education further, how to make students write rich individual character of the composition actively under the guidance of teachers and promote students’ sustainable development is the hot topic discussed in this paper. Under the background of small-class teaching, teachers may pay more attention to each individual student but the effectiveness of writing teaching is still not satisfactory. In the actual teaching, as a Chinese teacher, I feel the immediate problem is:on the one hand since we are facing mid-term exam achievement how to improve the students’ composition scores has been a big subject; On the other hand, how to decrease the homework as well as to improve students’ correct use of language and develop the ability to communicate with others? Finally led to the two problems in this research, the purpose is to take this opportunity and try to improve the teaching meth od, and find a way out of the question.Before the study, we performed questionnaire investigation and tests, through the analysis of reliable data we find the current status of students’ writing ability is weak, and make a conclusion:the cause of the weak writing ability is students didn’t develop good reading habits, study habits. What’s more the composition training material is lack of teaching sequences, the the composition training ignores the age groups and the psychological characteristics of students and pertinence. Third, the students are lack of positive reinforcement, the interest is not high. Base on these facts, I take full advantage of the time, space, conditions and means of informationization in small class divide the students into groups according to different ability levels, different characters and expression ability of heterogeneous grouping. According to the sequences below:put forward a writing topic-finish composition task list-heterogeneous group communication-homogenous group discussion-finish a composition by oneself-write in heterogeneous group-write in homogeneous group, the class discussion, a process of teachers’ focus’ drafts, senders. After school, use "class diary relay" and "reading list" as a complement of writing teaching. According to the practical ability of students, in the two semesters we hold writing training status and project training to gradually formed series. The teacher try to build an open and loose environment for composition teaching so that we can encourage students to express original insights and form the heated discussion of classroom atmosphere as well as to train the students’ interest in observing life, understand life. What’s more we can also guide students composition psychological preparation and the composition material prepare to overcome psychological barriers, encourage students to bold expression, form the writing habit of independent thinking, divergent thinking, break through the mind-set, highlight the dominant position of students, respect for individual differences. In order to make all levels of students get the corresponding development.After a year of teaching practice, through several large examinations. We concluded that the "heterogeneous group cooperation" composition teaching in small class effectively stimulated students’ subjective initiative composition, maximally excavate students’ potential, strengthen the confidence of students composition. In group discussion, the students felt the importance of team cooperation, tasted the pleasure of unity and cooperation. In general, Composition teaching based on "heterogeneous group cooperation" in small class of junior high school helped students formed the good habit of reading the composition. At the same time their language ability is improved effectively.
