1. ObjectiveIn recent years, there are lots of researches about the effect of yoga and aerobic exercise on the function of immunity separately. But there are few reports on the combination of yoga and aerobic exercise. In this paper, the effect of the combination way on the function of immunity is discussed, the research results provide theoretical basis and more exercise way for national fitness.2. Methods35 healthy female college students who participate in aerobics and yoga exercise for the first time are taken as exercise group, and another 35 healthy female college students who do not participate in any amateur exercise are taken as control group. The exercise group does exercise of yoga or aerobic exercise for an hour per day:does yoga exercise in odd number days, does aerobic exercise in even number days. After three months exercise, for exercise group and control group, the serum IL-2, IL-6, IgG and white blood cell count are measured separately in before and after exercise. All the data are used SPSS 17.0 package to do independent sample T test, take P<0.05 as a significant level.3. Results3.1 Before yoga and aerobic exercise, in quiet state, taking the immune parameters of the exercise group compare with the control group, there are no significant differences.3.2 After three months of yoga and aerobic alternating exercises, in quiet state, compared with the immune parameters which were tested before exercise, those parameters of exercise group are all increased after exercise. Serum IL-6, IgG and WBC are all significantly increased (P<0.05), IL-2 is very significantly increased (P<0.01). After the experiment, all the immune parameters of control group students are no significant change.3.3 After three months oga and aerobic alternating exercises, in quiet state, the IL-6 and WBC indicators of the exercise group are significant higher than the control group (P<0.05), the IL-2 indicators of the exercise group is extraordinary significant higher than control group (P<0.001), and there is no significant difference between the IgG indicators of exercise group and control group.4. ConclusionThe combination of yoga and aerobic exercise can increase the serum IL-2, IL-6, IgG and WBC levels of the female college students. It is demonstrated that Combination of yoga and aerobic exercise can significantly improve and steady the immune function, improve the body ability to resist disease, and build up health. |
