Research objectives: The purpose is to explore whether aerobic exercise and resistance exercise in different order in the same exercise will have different impacts on the health and fitness of overweight college students,so as to make college students who want to improve their health level through fitness realize the advantages of resistance combined with aerobic exercise. At the same time,it provides theoretical basis for fitness coaches to make appropriate plans for the actual situation and needs of overweight people.Research objects and methods: In this study,70 college students(32 male students,38 female students)from two fitness institutions were selected as subjects by the methods of literature, experiment and mathematical statistics.Four healthy physical fitness indexes of body composition(including the thickness of four skin fold of upper arm, scapula, abdomen and iliac,as well as body fat percentage,BMI,waist circumference, hip circumference and waist-hip ratio),muscle strength and muscle endurance(grip strength, standing jump,sit-up,push-up and plank),cardiopulmonary fitness(lung capacity,20 m male and 17 m SRT female)and flexibility(sitting forward bend)were selected As the first level index, college students were divided into resistance + aerobic group(RE+AE),aerobic + resistance group(AE+RE)and control group(CG),CG group only maintained normal diet and daily life,RE+AE group and AE+RE group underwent corresponding 10-week intervention training, the intervention process made the experimental group exercise intensity and amount of the same. The diet and rest were the same as those of CG group.Research results:(1)Male subjects in RE+AE group,AE+RE group and CG group had significant differences except waist-hip ratio(P < 0.05),among which, there was no significant difference between AE+RE group and AE+RE group(P > 0.05).Compared with CG group, among all indexes,Except waist-to-hip ratio, there were significant statistical differences(P < 0.05),among which body composition indexes iliac skin fold thickness, body fat percentage,BMI,waist circumference, hip circumference, grip strength,sit-ups,planks and all cardiopulmonary fitness and flexibility fitness indexes had extremely significant statistical differences(P < 0.01).Compared with CG group,AE+RE group had statistically significant differences except scapular fold thickness,waist-hip ratio and standing long jump, and body fat percentage,BMI,waist circumference, hip circumference,sit-ups,push-ups and all indexes of cardiopulmonary fitness and flexibility had extremely significant statistical differences(P < 0.01).(2)Before and after intervention, there were no significant differences in waist-to-hip ratio between the RE+AE group and the AE+RE group and CG group in all indexes of the RE+AE group, the seated forward bend between the RE+AE group and the CG group except sit-ups(P > 0.05).Other indexes had extremely significant statistical differences(P < 0.01)except AE+RE group upper arm and scapular fold thickness,AE+RE group grip strength and AE+RE group seated flexion.(3)There were significant differences among female subjects in RE+AE group,AE+RE group and CG group(P < 0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between the RE+AE group and AE+RE group except for 17 m SRT(P > 0.05).Compared with the CG group, among all indexes,There were significant statistical differences except upper arm fold thickness, hip circumference and anterior flexion of sitting body(P <0.05),and there were extremely significant statistical differences among abdominal and iliac fold thickness, body fat percentage,BMI,standing long jump,push-up and vital capacity(P < 0.01).Compared with CG group,AE+RE group had statistically significant differences except upper arm fold thickness and hip circumference(P < 0.05),and scapular fold thickness, body fat percentage and plank support had extremely significant statistical differences(P < 0.01).(4)The comparison of female subjects before and after intervention showed that all indexes in the RE+AE group and CG group showed no significant difference before and after the experiment except the vital capacity index of CG group, but the vital capacity of CG group showed a decreasing trend; In all indexes of RE+AE group and AE+RE group, except waist-hip ratio of AE+RE group and 17 m SRT of RE+AE group had significant statistical differences(P< 0.05),other indexes had extremely significant statistical differences(P < 0.01).The conclusions and suggestions are as follows:(1)each exercise order has its own unique advantages and emphases,so we can choose the proper combination of exercise order according to our own goal and feeling;(2)resistance exercise before aerobic exercise can effectively avoid the fatigue after aerobic exercise,so it is more effective for overweight students to improve muscle strength and volume,(3)resistance exercise is beneficial to the metabolism of fat in aerobic exercise, that is,resistance exercise is beneficial to the oxidation of fat in aerobic exercise, this change is due to resistance exercise on energy consumption and changes in body hormones, and the degree of change in men than women;(4)the combination of resistance and aerobic exercise improved some endurance indexes, such as male Sit-up and female push-up,it is hypothesized that the decline in muscle mass and strength due to prolonged inactivity in the overweight student population may be responsible for the limitation of muscle endurance and cardiorespiratory capacity, and therefore,(5)if overweight students want to improve their aerobic capacity, they should give priority to aerobic exercise before resistance exercise;(6)if you want to improve muscle strength and muscle dimension,it is not recommended to do aerobic exercise before resistance exercise. If the aerobic exercise has a certain intensity,it will affect the performance of subsequent resistance exercise,if the strength can not be improved effectively, the muscle dimension can not be increased well.(7)there are gender differences in the effects of different combinations of resistance and aerobic exercise on the body. |
