Treatment Of Diastolic Heart Failure With Combination Of Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine ( Both Qi And Yin Deficiency ) Clinical Research

Purpose:By comparing the clinical efficacy of the combination of Traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of Diastolic Heart Failure (Qi and Yin Deficiency type) with simple western medicine. We can got the conclusion that the treatment of combining TCM and western medicine has more effectiveness and advantages in treating Diastolic Heart Failure.Material and method: We selected 56 cases from the outpatient and inpatient patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine which were diagnosed as diastolic heart failure and meeting the test inclusion criteria of patients. The patients were divided into treatment group and control group accordance with the principle of random. Control group were given conventional western medicine treatment, the number of which was 28. Treatment group were given traditional Chinese medicine treatment on the basis of the medical treatment,the number of which was 28. Patients were observed in the total effectiveness , heart function, effectiveness of traditional Chinese medical syndrome, effectiveness of left ventricular diastolic function in order to get the clinical efficacy of combination of Chinese and Western medicine therapy on the treatment of diastolic heart failure. Both the course of treatment was 4 weeks. SPSS 13.0 software package was applicated for statistical analysis.Results:1 After treatment, the total efficacy rate of the treatment group was 92.85% while 75% in the control group.The difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).2 Comparing the heart function after treatment , the total effective rate was 85.7% in the control group, while 71.5% in the treatment group. The difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparing the efficacy of TCM symptom after the treatment, the total efficiency of the treatment group is 89.3% ,while in the control group, the total efficiency was 71.4%. The difference between the two groups had statistical significance (p <0.05).3 Left ventricular diastolic function parameters of the two groups was statistically significant before and after treatment (P <0.05),in which the treatment group E, A, E / A, IVRT had significant difference before and after treatment (P <0.01).the result between the two groups after the treatment had statistical significance (P <0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of combination of Traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine in treating diastolic heart failure can effectively improve the symptoms and left ventricular diastolic function of patients ,which indicates effectiveness of the treatment of combination of Traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine.
