Clinically many diseases especially in stannous like HF, for its long stand and complex, their clinical express not seem that easy from the start to the end. Not easily especially to criticize them as "completely well" or "cure". On the other hand, their difficult to criticize come from their periodical treatment.A completed estimation to daily living and being well is the definition of QoL, a completed estimation to peoples suffering disease is of HRQOL. Chinese medicine in its nature has plenty of variety, that’s why any way of estimation under the name of science would seem not fit with the way of Chinese medicine and their estimation would incline to superficial. The strategy of whole estimation of HRQOL could be a breakthrough of scientific unidirectional estimation. A Chinese-version MLHFQ has been developed by Mrs YanBo Zhu and her workmates, it was a good contribution to the field. In recent year, the utilization of psychological questionnaire has been widely adopted in the field of HF, with so many researches revealed the possible strong relationship between HF and anxiety. But it would be the same with other scientific estimation, to the psychological questionnaire they has its limit to apply to Chinese medicine. To the long run of development, HRQOL and psychological questionnaire could join force to be supplement with each other. In accordance with some researches from main-land China they were using the HAMD or Beck kit as their tools to estimate those patients with HF, although they are all popularly use in western world, they are designed to be use by expert in psychological field, especially for psychologists’ usage to their patients with anxiety as the questionnaire has a special part has to be finish by expert. So the system of counting score in those tools would be quite difficult, with their relatively long time exhaustion for complete them. Their might not fit at all when using them to patients with HF. And their might be a little difficult to handle when an outsider to use it. This research has use Zung (SDS) as its merit of self-completed and time efficiency, and because of its very closed validity to HAMD and Beck.Patients on this research are all come from Beijing hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, its Cardiologic department. Patients when fit the low limitation of NYHC class2to4would be included in this research. Then they are all go through the process of randomized, control group, simple blind, then split them into two groups, group of completed treatment of western medicine, and group of intervention of Chinese medicine. Each patient has to complete2separated questionnaires when they admitted and leave the hospital within3weeks. These two questionnaires are MLHFQ and Zung (SDS).To the statistic result, MLHFQ show the obvious improvement in both groups after treatment, except the "emotional estimation" of the MLHFQ in group of completed treatment of western medicine it showed the P>0.05, means that in this group may show no efficiency after treatment. In overall appearance, group of intervention of Chinese medicine has been obviously better than group of completed treatment of western medicine.
