Objective:This research observes the clinical curative effect of the neck-qianxuan method and xiaotong powder applied topically in order to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (wind-cold obstructing network vessel pattern),to further discuss and recognize the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy pathology mechanism and the function mechanism of neck-qianxuan method and xiaotong powder applied topically. Methods:100 patients of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly divided into two groups (treatment group & control group). We applied the neck-qianxuan method and xiaotong powder applied topically to treat in treatment group,50 patients in control group were given the cervical vertebra traction. The author systematically observed neck-qianxuan method and xiaotong powder applied topically sinfluence on the patients' WBC,GR and the improve of clinical symptom. Results:The clinical observation results indicated: the treatment group showed that the good rate was 74.0%; the total effectiveness was 94.0%. The control group showed the good rate as 52.0%;the total effectiveness as 76.0%. The clinical good rate and comparative total effectiveness of the two groups had significant differences (P<0.05). This showed that treatment group results surpassed the control group in the efficacy of the medicines used. Conclusion:The neck-qianxuan method and xiaotong powder applied topically is effective on treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and worth popularizing and recipe is effective on applying on clinic.
