Purpose: This thesis is concerning with Clinical comparison on acupuncture of four points of Yang link vessel With Ear Acupoint to wind-cold type of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy to provide basis for the optimal choice of clinical treatment.Method:Using a random number table,60 standard objects are divided into the treatment group and control group on the average.The treatment group is treated with puncturing four Yangwei acupoints and ear acupoints sticking and pressing.The control group is treated according to the standard treatment in the 12 th five year planning textbook of Acupuncture Therapeutics(China press of traditional Chinese medicine in August 2012,third edition).Before the treatment,after treatment 6 times and 12 times,respectively on two groups, clinical curative effect and Neck pain comprehensively evaluating integrals are compared.Results:1.Before treatment,two groups are comparable in age,sex,course of disease,neck pain assessment,P>0.05.2. There is no significant difference of curative effect between two groups both after treatment 6 times and 12 times.3. For neck pain assessment after treatment,the two groups graded by simplified Mc Gill rating scale, the results are as follows:3.1 Comparison in the group:both have significant difference within group in PRI,VAS,PPI and three final scores,after treatment 6 times and 12 times.It Shows that two groups of treatment both can reduce neck pain.3.2 Comparison between the 2 groups:there is no significant difference between the 2groups in PRI,VAS,PPI and three final scores after treatment 6 times(P<0.05) and it shows that,after 6 times treatment,2 groups have no difference in the pain relief.There is significant difference in the 2 groups in PRI,VAS,PPI and three final scores after treatment 12 times and it shows that after 12 times treatment,the treatment group in terms of pain relief effect is better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that two kinds of therapy to treat cervical spondylosis of nerve root type of symptoms of wind-cold type both have obvious curative effect,and there is no significant difference between two groups.However,the treatment group in terms of pain relief is better than the control group.It shows that the treatment of puncturing four Yangwei acupoints and ear acupoints sticking and pressing has better pain relief effect than the normal acupuncture treatment.
