Purpose:The treatment by acupuncture in experimental diabetic cardiomyopathy rats is to observe its general condition, blood glucose, TNF-αchanges, myocardial ultrastructure changes ,and explores the role of TNF-αin diabetic cardiomyopathy, and aims to in further analysis of pathogenesis and principles of acupuncture, providing modern scientific basis for acupuncture treatment of diabetic cardiomyopathy .Methods: 1. To meet the requirements of male Wistar rats were 58, and were randomly divided into normal control group 8 and the remaining 50 single intraperitoneal injection of 55mg/kg streptozotocin diabetic cardiomyopathy rat model of manufacturing, the model was successful 42 and were randomly divided into model group 14, acupuncture group 14, western medicine group 14. 2. Acupuncture group selected Feishu, spleen, Shenshu, internal relations, Sanyinjiao, epigastric next Yu, acupuncture one time every other day, every 15min, continuous acupuncture for 12 weeks;group of western medicine daily morning under the weight of rats fed with enalapril 1.5mg/kg; normal control group, model group group fed with the same volume daily from drinking water. 3. By radioimmunoassay (RIA), determination of TNF-αcontent; using the conventional biochemical indicators of blood glucose; transmission electron microscope to observe myocardial ultrastructure and photographs; determination of rat body weight before and after comparison of 14 weeks. Results: 1. Effects of acupuncture on body weight of diabetic rats: 14 weeks in each group compared with the control group were significant different(P <0.01), acupuncture group and model group were significantly different (P <0.05).2. Effects of acupuncture on blood glucose of diabetic rats: 14 weeks, compared with the control group were significantly different (P <0.01), acupuncture group compared with the model group were significantly different (P <0.01).3. Effects of acupuncture on TNF-αeffect: the model group, acupuncture group compared with the control group, there were significant differences (P <0.01). Acupuncture group compared with the model group were significantly different (P < 0.01). 4.Changes of acupuncture on myocardial ultrastructure: compared with model group, still neatly arranged tow muscle mitochondria vertical rows, with a clear light and shade, a small number of glycogen accumulation, muscle tow dissolved to a lesser extent.Conclusion:1. Using a single intraperitoneal injection of 55mg/kg streptozotocin rat model of diabetic cardiomyopathy manufacturing method is reliable.2. Diabetic rat model of myocardial disease is associated with TNF-α, increased blood sugar levels, myocardial ultrastructure.3. Acupuncture treatment of diabetic cardiomyopathy, can be reduced TNF-αand blood sugar levels, improve the treatment of myocardial structure to play a role in improving body function.
