Objective:to observe the efficacy of TCM formula PingCuo Fluid together with Spironolactone and Vitamin B6,to female post-puberty acne.Method:100 cases of female post-puberty ache,whose lesions were leveled fromⅠtoⅢdegree,were randomly divided into three groups.The first group,integrated western and traditional Chinese medicine group,was treated with PingCuo Fluid,Spironolactone and Vitamin B6.The second group,TCM group,was treated only with PingCuo Fluid.The third group,western medicine group,was treated with Spironolactone and Vitamin B6.All three groups were assessed after 4 week's therapy.Results:The total effective rate of three groups were 94.74%,71.88% and 73.33%respectively.The integrated western and traditional Chinese medicine group was more effective than the other two,(P<0.05) the efficacy rate was negtively relavant to that of the severity of the illness(P<0.05),which was the lighter the case was,the better it worked.there is no significant relationship between the efficacy and the course of this ailment(P>0.05).Conclusion:To female post-puberty acne cases,the method of integrated medicine,by using TCM fomular PingCuo Fluid,together with Spironolactone and Vitamin B6,is more effective and with less adverse reaction than that of western medicine or TCM.
