A Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Post-adolescent Acne With Cuoyukang Granules

Objective:Observe the efficacy of the tiny Kangkang granules in treating women with post-pubertal acne Chong and Ren Irregular syndrome and its impact on the quality of life.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria of Chinese and Western medicine,a total of 60 patients were screened out that met the inclusion criteria.The 60 patients were divided into a treatment group(30 cases)and a control group(30 cases)according to a random number look-up table.The treatment group was given Cuoyukang orally Granules plus or minus plus Western medicine for external use(Fusidic acid cream for external use in the morning+Adapalene gel for external use in the evening).The control group took Oral Compound Zhenzhu Anchuang Tablets plus Western medicine for external use.The treatment period is 6 weeks.Observe and record the TCM syndromes scores of the two groups before and after treatment,GAGS acne scores,Pillsbury International Improved Grading Rating,Acne-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire Scores.Statistical data processing methods such as t-test and rank-sum test were used to compare the changes in the scores before and after treatment between the two groups.Results:(1)The total scores of TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group and the control group improved after treatment compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the total scores of TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group improved significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).In the subdivision of TCM syndromes,the scores of acne symptoms,menstrual status scores and accompanying symptoms of the two groups were significantly improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05),and the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The improvement of GAGS acne scores in the two groups after treatment was significantly better than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement in GAGS scores of the treatment group after treatment was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)The scores((self-cognition,social function,emotional function,total score))of the treatment group and the control group of the specific quality of life scale were significantly improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group's The improvement of each score was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)No significant adverse reactions occurred during both groups of treatments.Conclusion:Cuoyukang Granules combined with western medicine can improve the acne skin lesions,the quality of life and the TCM syndromes of women with post-pubertal acne Chong and Ren Irregular syndrome,and have good safety.
