Acupuncture In The Top Three Points To The Treatment Of Cervical Vertebral Artery Disease Clinical Observation

Objective:Vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis(CSA) is a subtype of cervical spondylosis, the incidence of which account for 8% - 10% of all.Vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis(CSA) is frequently encountered disease in clinic, because of degenerative change of cervical spondylosis, hyperplastic bone in the cervical spondylosis inbursts or stimulates the vertebral artery, which induces reflexed shrinkage, leding to a syndrome of vertigo, which occurred more frequently in 40 to 60 years old adults, moreover, the number of male patients is beyond female.The feature of disease is hight incidence, long time to cure and easy to recurrent attacks.During the topic, we used Dingxiangsanxue to treat CSA, and investigated mechanism of acupunture therapy by morden measures of its diagnosis and treatment-TCD and ET, the difference of which in before and after treatment, and try to build a scientific experiment foundation to support the treatment.Methods:All the sixty cases from the department of Acupuncture of NO. 1 hospital of Wuhan, they were consistent with CSA diagnostic criteria.All the sixty cases were divided into two groups by random, according to the patients visit order, each group with 30.The observation group mainly adopts Dingxiangsanxue to treatment.Selected points:①Mainly points: Baihui, Fengchi, Tianzhu, Dingxiangsanxue for short.②Matching points: the cervical "jiaji"according to lesions parts of corresponding.In the supine position, the patients had a soft pillow in the mandible.After routine disinfection in the local parts, the doctor used disposable needle, remaining 30 mintues.The treatment had a time a day. Two treatments above were given two circulations, seven days as one circulation, one day rest after one week treatment, going to the next circultion.To evaluate effect of treatment after two circulations.The control group adopted 5mg Xibiling oral drug, a time a day. The healing ratio and total effective ratio of observation group is 70% and 93.3% respectively, but of control group, healing rate is 40% and total effective is 70%.This show that observation group is more excellent than control group in effect(P < 0.05) .2. With regard to the marks of symptom and vital sign: observation group and control group had comparability because there was not distinct difference between the two groups before treatment.After the treatment there was distinct differences between the two groups, which showed the symptom and vital sign of observation group had more excellent than control group in effect (P < 0.01) .3. With regard to hemodynamics: observation group and control group had comparability because there was not distinct difference between the two groups before treatment.After treatment the VS, VD and VM had distinct uplifting( P < 0.01), the PI and RI had distinct decline (P < 0.01); but only VS and VM of the control group after treatment increase (P < 0.05) .The results shows that observation group has a more excellent improvement in hemodynamics (P < 0.05) .4. With regard to ET: observation group and control group had comparability because there was not distinct difference between the two groups before treatment.After the treatment there was distinct differences between the two groups, which showed the ET of observation group had more excellent than control group in effect (P<0.01) .Conclusion:1. The clinical curative effect of Dingxiangsanxue treatment is predominance, which is superior than control group obviously.2. The hemodynamics of Dingxiangsanxue treatment is predominance, which can improve the blood flow rate of CSA patients and condition of blood support by speeding up the blood flow rate, declining the PI and RI.3. The ET of Dingxiangsanxue treatment is predominance, which can help the blood circulation back to the normal by improving condition of angiospasm.
