Constipation Complex Soup Treatment Of Functional Constipation In Clinical Observation

Purpose: to observe the effect of Bianmifutang(BMFT) in improving the defaecation and its quality of the functional constipation(FC). Methods:1. uniting the surferers whose symptoms were atrributed to the weakness of Qi and dryness of the intestines into comparison and therapy groups by simple stochastic ways;2.The comparison group which included 38 persons took BMFT orally(200ml each time),while the therapy group whoich included 34 persons took Marenrunchangwan(MRRCW) orally (two pills each time ). They all were served for four weeks and took the medcine twice daily.3. observing the effect of Bianmifutang(BMFT) in improving the symptoms,defaecation and its quality after one period of treatment(four weeks) of both groups by inputting the data into the software of SPSS for statistical analysis.Results:1. analysis to two groups'general curative effect:after one period of treatment ,efficiency rate of therapy group was(92.11%),while that of comparison group was (91.18%).The former was more than the latter,but there was no distinct difference between them by analysing them through statistics.(P>0.05)2. comparison between the symptomatic scores of two groups:the main symptoms of both groups were lessened by treatments obviously and the scores dropped.Comparing with the status before treatment ,therapy group excelled in improving the clinic symptoms and external signs of sufferers.There was distinct difference between them.(P<0.05)3. comparison between the recrudescence rate of two groups:during the one month after the period of treatment, the recrudescence rate of comparison group was 53.85%,while the recrudescence rate of therapy group was 10.71%.The former was more than the latter,and there was distinct difference between them by analysing them through statistics.(P<0.05)4. indexes for security observation:no distinct bad reactions occurred in all the cases of both groups during the treatmeat.Conclusion:There was preferable curative effect in curing FC with BMFT which was especially good at shortening the suffering time,lightening the degree of pain and resuming normal excretory function.It was worthy of application and dissemination in clinic.
