This article briefly summarized the substance about postoperative pain of anusintestine'sdisease, after reviewing considerable correlated medical literatures fromboth Chinese and Western medicine fields. Traditional Chinese medicine consideredthat stagnation of QI and blood and insufficiency of yang QI may bring about pain.Besides, this article also introduced different kinds of treatments to relieve the anusintestine'spostoperative pain and their advantages and disadvantages, then explainedthe reasons of postoperative pain. There were medical herbs therapy, acupuncturetherapy and acupoint injection therapy, etc. The first and last therapies were mostlyreported and had good clinical effect. In the other hand they could reduce the toxicityand side effect.Through out consulting many ancient and contemporary TCM classics, combinedwith many-year clinical experience, Professor Li Guodong found modern Qududecoction based on ancient Qudu decoction from《Golden Mirror of Medicine》.Inorder to further investigate the clinical effect of Qudu decoction,we compared it withcomplex lidocaine cremor. Objective:To investigate the clinical effect on relieving postoperative pain of Qududecoction, and compared with complex lidocaine cremor.Methods:48 patients after anal fistula operation were divided into two groups:treatment group (Qudu decoction group) 24 cases; positive control group(complexlidocaine cremor group)24 cases. Visual analogue scale was used to measure thepatient's pain level at the different observation time: after first defecation, afterpost-treatment 30min, after post-treatment 60min,after post-treatment 90min, afterpost-treatment 120min. SAS8.2 statistics software was used to analysis the VASscores. Results: There was a significant difference between prior-treatment and posttreatment, both in treatment group and positive control group (P<0.01). There was nodifference between the two groups after post-treatment 30min and 60min after firstdefecation (P>0.05). There was a significant difference between the two groups afterpost-treatment 90min and 120min after first defecation (P<0.05). There was nodifference between the two groups after post-treatment 30min after second defecation(P>0.05). There was a significant difference between the two groups after posttreatment60min,90min and 120min after second defecation (P<0.05).Conclusion:Qudu decoction could relieve postoperative pain on case of anal fistulaoperation. Qudu decoction had the same short-term postoperative analgesia effectwith complex lidocaine cremor.
