Functional Dyspepsia Tcm Syndrome

Objective:Discussing the clinical syndromes of FD from the traditional Chinese medicine perspective, so as to provide grounds for clinical treatment.Methods:. Probing into rules of FD syndromes from the traditional Chinese medicine perspective, based on clinical records of 130 patients with FD.Results: 1) The patients'age, sex do not have the statistical meaning of FD(P >0.05); 2) FD syndromes in TCM are mostly seen with gassiness, poor appetite,hiccup and stomach ache; 3) Among different types of FD, 35.4% are spleen/stomach damp and hot type,33.8% are liver/stomach disharmony type, 14.6% are spleen/stomach fragility type,9.2% are food stagnancy type, and 6.9% are mixed chills and fever type; for different distributions of FD syndrome pattern , there is no statistical meaning with the patients'age and sex (P >0.05); 4) For different distributions of FD syndrome pattern, different causes of the disease has statistical meaning (P <0.01); 5) Distributions of FD syndrome pattern are different between different type of FD syndromes.Conclusions: 1. Different FD syndrome pattern are not related to the patients'age and sex,but causes of FD has relationship with it.2. Types of FD syndromes are mainly spleen/stomach damp and hot type and liver/stomach disharmony type. 3. Distributions of FD syndrome pattern are different between types of FD syndromes.
