[Objective] :To study the relationship between the clinical and pathological data of retinoblastoma(RB) patients . To investigate the significance of expression of EGFR and Ki67 in retinoblastoma. [Methods] :1. In this retrospective study, the clinical and pathologic data of 46 retinoblastoma patients admitted in 4 hospitals in Jinan over the years 1990 to 2004 were reviewed. Statistical analyses on sex, age at symptoms, laterality, duration of symptoms .clinical findings, staging of RB, histological typing and the condition of optic nerve invasion.2. To detect the expression of EGFR and Ki67 in retinoblastoma(RB) , the immunohistochemistry method was used. All data were analyzed statistically with SPSS. [Results] :1. In this series of the 46 RB cases , there were 25 male patients with 25 eyes sickened and 21 female patients with 21 eyes sickened, male : female =1.2 : 1; there were 20(43.5%) left eyes, 26(56. 5%)right eyes.
