Objective:To measure the expression of EGFR,KI67 and MMP-9 protein in breast cancer for the purpose of explore their expression, clinical and pathological value in breast cancer,to make sure if they can be used as indicators in prognosis and help us in clinical treatment for breast cancer patients.Methods:EGFR,KI67 and MMP-9 were measured by immunohistochemistry (SP)on paraffin specimens in 62 cases of breast cancer,We analysis the relations of EGFR,KI67 and MMP-9 and breast cancer between clinical stage, tumor size, regional lymph node transfer and ageof the patients. All the patients were not treated befor the operation(including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and endocrine treatment)Results:1.EGFR in breast cancer positive rate was 41.9%,EGFR expression and clinical stage of breast cancer tumor size and the number of lymph node metastasis and the number of five-year survival, rate was correlated(P<0.05),and the age of the patients had no significant correlation(P>0.05)2.KI67 in breast cancer positive rate was 48.4%,KI67 expression and clinical stage of breast cancer tumor size and the number of lymph node metastasis and the number of five-year survival rate was correlated(P<0.05),and the age of the patients had no significant correlation(P>0.05);3.MMP-9 in breast cancer positive rate was 64.5%,MMP-9 expression and clinical stage, and the number of lymph node metastases and the number of five-year survival rate was correlated(P<0.01),in patients with age, tumor size was no significant correlation(P>0.05)Conclusion:EGFR,KI67,MMP-9 can be used as indicators for prognosis and help us in the clinical treatment for breast cancer patients.
