Sichuan, Guizhou And Delphinium Alkaloids

Delphinium bonvalotii Franch., an endemic Chinese traditional medicinal plant reputed for the treatments of inflammatory conditions and rheumatism.There was preliminary phytochemical study for this plant.Continuous investigation has now led to the isolation of five new C₁₉-diterpenoid alkaloids, bonvalotidine A, bonvalotidine B, bonvalotidine C , bonvalotidine D, and bonvalotidine E together with twenty-one additional known alkaloids, 6-deoxydelpheline, 6-acetyldelpheline, 6-acetyldelcorine, pacinine, delpheline, delbotine, deltaline, 6-dehydrodeltamine, delsoline, deltatsine, browiine, deltamine, tuguaconitine, anthranoyllycoctonine, methyllycaconitine, delphatine, delsemine A, delsemine B, delavaine A free acid, delavaine B free acid and lycoctonine. All the twenty-six diterpenoid alkaloids were elucidated by spectral data (IR, MS, HRMS, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, DEPT, ¹H-¹HCOSY, HMQC, HMBC) and chemical methods, bonvalotidines A ～ C are very rare lycoctonine type C₁₉-diterpenoid alkaloids having C-5 hydroxy.
