Delphinium davidii Franch., an endemic Chinese traditional medicinalplant reputed for the treatments of inflammatory conditions andrheumatism. There was no preliminary study for this plant. Our investigationhas now led to the isolation of there new C19-diterpenoid alkaloids, davidiisine A, davidiisine B, and davidiisine C together with fifteenadditional known alkaloids, bulleyanine, deltasine, browniine, anthranoyllycotonine, 14-dehydrodelcosine, delbrunine, lycoctonine, delcosine, takaosamine, delvasine A, delvasine B, 1,19-N,O-didehydrotakaosamine, hetisinone, giraldine G, and methyllycaconitine. Allthe eighteen diterpenoid alkaloids were elucidated by spectral data(IR, MS,HR-ESI-MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 1H-1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC) andchemical methods. In addition, two amino compounds were identified byspectral data.
