"yaotongding The Rat Nucleus Pulposus Autoimmune Response

ObjectiveThe rat's were given nucleus pulposus transplantation and lavaged with "Yao Tong Ding". Then the peripheral patliology changes were observed, and blood IgG, IgM tested 7, 21days after the operation to investigate the effect of a patent Chinese medicine "Yao Tong Ding" on rat's sell-immunity system, and provide an objective evidence for treating lumbar disc protrusion with Chinese pharmaceutics.Methods48 rats of common level, with half male and half female, were divided into 4 groups randomly: contrast group (A), model group (B), Yao Tong Ding group (C), and Yao Tui Tong pill group (D).The rat lumbar disc protrusion immune phlegmonosis reaction model was set up by transplanting the caudal vertebrae nucleus pulposus under subcutaneous tissue of rat ear back.Methods for modeling Group A: contrast group without any procession. Group R,C, D: modeled as follows. Inject 25% urethane into the rat's abdominal cavity, shear, sterilize, clip the caudal vertebrae at 1cm above its anus, then pick out the nucleus pulposus, about 10mg in quantity. Section the skin at the middle of its nape behind the ears, plant the nucleus pulposus under the skin, suture and rap the cut, inject PG(200 thousand units per day) through muscle for 3days, and then lavage accordingly from the third day alter the operation, group C 0.16g, group D0.1 g for each rat.Then patliology changes on the periphery of the nucleus pulposus were observed, and blood IgG. IgM were tested 7,21 days after the operation.All the outcome were analyzed by T-tesl, the data was considered to besignificant when p<0.05, and expressed by mean + standard deviation ( X|- ± S) .Results1.Blood IgG content:Blood IgG content of each group were detected 7, 21 days after transplantation. Group B, C,Deompared with A (21d), extremely significant ( p<0.01), which indicated blood IgG content in group B,C ,D raised notably. Group B compared with C, D,7 days after, insignilicant (p>0.05). which indicated blood IgG content in group B was similar to C and D: 21 days after, extremely significant p<0.01), which indicated blood IgG content in group C and D decreased obviously in comparison with B.
