Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion (Kidney - Yang Deficiency Type) By

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of the Yougui Pill treatment patients with LDH (Kidney-Yang Deficiency).That research could lay the foundation for further study of the clinical.METHODS:60 cases of patients with LDH were divided into 2 groups randomly,30 cases of Treatment group,30 cases of the control group, Taken separately a course (one month).The clinical therapeutic effect of the two groups were observed and compared by subjective symptoms, objective signs and the total points.It also detected the liver and Renal safety indicators.Results:There was statistic significant difference between two groups inter after a course treatment (one month) (P< 0.05). There was statistic significant difference between two groups in the improvement of low back pain, leg pain, straight leg raising test, exercise barriers,and the efficacy of daily activities.However,there was no statistic significant difference between two groups in the improvement of Sensory disturbance (P> 0.05). The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%, The total effective rate of the control group was 83.3%.After rank sum test, the treatment group was better than the control group (P< 0.05).Conclusions:The Yougui Pill was not only better than the control group in promotement the total score and the clinical efficacy,but in the improvement low back pain, leg pain, straight leg raising test, exercise barriers, and the efficacy of daily activities.It could Improve the quality of life and the overall effect. The Yougui Pill has many merits such as simplicity convence safely,less side-effect and adverse reactions,It is worth clinical application and dissemination.
