Clinical Study Of Shen Tong Zhu Yu Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective: To investigate the curative effect of the Chinese traditionalmedicine “Xin shen tong zhu yu decoction” in Lumbar DiseHerniation(LDH).Method:60cases patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation were randomlydivided into two groups, Treatment group of30patients given oral decoction Decoctionnew body pain treatment, consisting of: Eucommia15g, Gentiana12g, Chuan Xiong10g,peach kernel10g, safflower10g, licorice10g, Notopterygium15g, angelica15g, Wuling fatfried10g, Cyperus15g, Achyranthes20g, earthworm10g, Corydalis20g, Scorpion6g, habitat20g, Dosage is:1day, cook2times against the uniform, warm clothes3times3week courseof treatment; control group of30patients given oral capsule for treatment of low back pain,consisting essentially of: myrrh, Eupolyphaga, herb, scorpion, frankincense, ephedra,Cyathula, silkworm, Strychnos powder, licorice, Dosage is: Orally,4to6,1day,3weeks for acourse. Two groups of patients in the clinical study were asked to shelter during cold, lying ona hard bed rest, stop taking other drugs, and other methods were not given the treatment.Results: In the treatment group:9cases were cured,10cases showedconsiderable improvement,8cases improved,3cases inefficacy. The effectiverate is90.0%, control group:8cases were cured,11cases showed considerableimprovement,7cases improved,4cases inefficacy, The effective rate is86.7%. The total efficiency of the former group is higher than the latter, butno significant effects were statistically significant difference between the twogroups(P>0.05).Conclusion: It is effective that taking with “Xin shen tongzhu yudecoction”treat LDH.
