Objective To validate the prevention and cure funtion of Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion in treating severe hepatitis, discuss the influence of Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion in accommodating the bacteriums in intestines, analysis the process mechanism of Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion, and provide prescription and long for the treatment of severe hepatitis and amending clinical symptom and prognosis with direction and gist. Methods 48 severe hepatitis cases(chronic severe virus hepatitis B, 36 patients; chronic virus hepatitis B leaning to severe hepatitis,12 patients) were divided at random into two groups: the treating group and the control group . The treating group: chronic severe virus hepatitis B, 23 patients; chronic virus hepatitis B leaning to severe hepatitis,8 patients. The control group: chronic severe virus hepatitis B, 13 patients; chronic virus hepatitis B leaning to severe hepatitis, 4 patients .The treating group were treated with comprehensive therapy and Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion and the control group were treated with comrehensive therapy only. To examine tumor necrosis factor- a and cultivate stool and survey bacteriums in intestines (EMB,EC,SP,SB, PS, BD, BL,LC, CD) at the first and the third week. Detections were also made in phase on the total serum bilirubin(TBil), albumin(ALB), prothrombin activity(PTA) at the course of treating. To observe the clinical curative effect on treating severe hepatitis by Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion. Results All of the sufferers that observed have presented vary grades of disorder of bacteriums in intestines. Before treating, all the available bacteriums in intestines of the treating group and the control group such as BL and LC are reduced , and all the maleficent bacteriums in intestinesof the treating group and the control group such as EMB, BD and CD are increased. After treating 2 weeks, the available bacteriums in intestines of the treating group such as BL and LC are increased in evidence(P<0.01) , and the maleficent bacteriums in intestines of the treating group such as EMB, BD and CD are reduced in evidence(P<0.01). All bacteriums in intestines of the control group are reduced by different degree including BL and LC. Before treating, α-TNF in the treating group and the control group are increased. After treating 2 weeks, α-TNF in the both two groups are reduced. That α-TNF in the treating group reduced has notable signicance (P<0.05) . That α-TNF in the control group reduced has very notable signicance (P<0.01) .In addition,we discovered: in the treating group: just being in hospital, TBiL250. 47 ± 86. 62umol/L,ALB32. 08 ± 4. 57g/L, PTA 42. 87% ± 18. 39%, and at leaving hospital, TBiL155. 12 ± 159.15umol/L, ALB 36. 49±4. 66g/L, PTA69. 87%±18. 21%; in the control group: just being in hospital, TBiL290.79 ± 106. 90umol/L, ALB31. 36±4.13g/L, PTA34.12%±12.00%, and at leaving hospital,TBiL218.39 ± 213.25umol/L, ALB32.37 ± 5.07g/L, PTA49. 41% ± 24.10%. By statistic analyse, TBiL in the treating group reduced salientiy (P<0. 01) , and PTA, ALB in the treating group increased prominently (P<0. 01) . PTA in the control group increased prominently (P<0. 01) ,but the change of TBiL, ALB in the control group has no statistic meaning (P>0. 05) . In the treating group:the mortality rate is 12. 00%, and the rate of curative effect is 70.97%; in the control group:the mortality rate is 30. 77%, and the rate of curative effect is 52. 94%. we can discover that the mortality rate in the treating group is less than in the control group, the rate of curative effect in the treating group is more than in the control group, and the number of days of being in hospital in the treating group is less than in the control group(P<0.05) . Conclusions Chi-Shao-Cheng-Qi's Decotion play a major role in ters ofamending the malajustment of bacteriums in intestines, increasing the available bacteriums in intestines, reducing the maleficent bacteriums in intestines, facililating the zoology balance of bacteriums in intestines, repelling inflammation and promo...
