Asthma Apply To Clinical Research, Soul Patch Dog Day Acupoint Application Prevention Of Asthma In Children

ObjectiveTo observe the influence on IgE, EOS, IL-5, IL-12 and clinical effect of ChuanFuLingTieJi(CFLTJ) by applying on the points (Dazhui , Dingchuan, Feishu, Pishu , Shenshu) of children patients with asthma,and compare with the ChuanFuLing(CFL)-paste, researching the mecharism of CFLTJ and providing theoretical basis for feasibility of CFL form improvement and prevention and treatment of asthma.Methods50 cases all came from the Hubei Province TCM Hospital pediatrics out-patient of July of 2004 and were divided into 2 groups at random, one was observation group,another was comparison group,each group had 25 cases.The observation period began from July of 2004 to January of 2005. The observation group was given CFLTJ by applying on the points on dog-days; the comparison group was given CFL-paste by applying on the same points on dog-days.Both groups applied every 10 days,and totally 3 times,2~4 hours each time.Measuring the levels of IgE,EOS, IL-5, IL-12 in blood of the two groups children, on the same time observing the times of common cold and asthma arise and the degree of it respectively before treatment and half a year later to observe the change.Resultsl.Both groups remarkably decreased the times of common cold and asthma arise,and alleviated the degree of asthma arise(P < 0.01),there had no obvious differences between the two groups (P>0.05).2.The improvements of clinical symptoms in different ages, courses of disease and symptom-complexes of observation group had no obvious differences (P>0.05).3.Both groups remarkably lowered the quite high level of IgE(P<0.01) and EOS(P<0.05), there had no obvious differences between the two groups (P>0.05).4. Both groups remarkably lowered the level of IL-5 and heightened the level of IL-12(P<0.05), there had no obvious differences between the two groups (P>0.05).5.The total effective rate of the observation groups was 88% and that of the comparison was 84%, there had no obvious differences between the two groups (P> 0.05).ConclusionThe TCM prescription of CFL applied on the points of children patients with asthma in remission on dog-days can control clinical symptoms of asthma obviously,improve biochemistry indexs and strengthen immune state.It is proved that CFLTJ had the same effect as the CFL-paste and covered the shortages of the paste.It operated more easily,economically and practically.
