| Objective :To compare the outcome of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH) combined external hemorrhoid dectomy with Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy in a randomized controlled trial and evaluate its efficacy. Methods:72 cases adimitted for surgical treatment of mixed hemorrhoids,were randomly devided to under go PPH combined external hemorrhoid dectomy(32 cases) or Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy(40 cases).Record and analyze the details of the efficacy,postoperatic pain index in 24h,pain index when defecating,times of using analgesic,bleeding,wound swelling,anus discomfortable,the ability of control feces,operating time,hospitalization time and hospital fee. Result:There is no statistically difference between the two group's efficacy.The PPH group had less pain when defecating ,wound swelling,shorter operating time and hospital stay,but more retention of urine and more hospital fee,than Milligan-Morgan group. Conclution:PPH combined external hemorrhoid dectomy is a kind of feasible and effective treatment for mixed hemorrhoid.Compare the two kinds of operation,each one have merits and shortcomings.The doctors should choose the reasonable kind of operation for the patients ,according to different patients' different conditions ,in clinic. |
