Qi And Blood Reminder Emulsion Treatment Of Postpartum Clinical Observation

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect and the safety on Buqi Buxue Cuiru Wate (BBC W) treating postpartum hypogalactia (syndrome of asthenia of qi and blood). To provide scientific basis for BBCW's application in clinic.Methods80 cases of postpartum hypogalactia who deliveried in our hospital's obstetrics were divided into two groups randomly : BBCW treatment group and Sheng Ru Ling Wate (SRLW) control group, each of which contained 40 cases. BBCW group and SRLW group were given BBCW and SRLW respectively for orally taking. Both groups started after three days of labor and lasted four days. During the treatment, the milk amountm, clinical symptoms and the infant's nude weight every morning were observed. Before and after one day of the treatment, sexual hormone and safety index of patients were observed too.Results1. The rate of recovery of BBCW was 37.5%,the total effective rate was 97.5%; The rate of recovery of SRLW was 47.5%,the total effective rate was 95%. By means of statistics analysis, there was no statistical difference between two groups (P>0.05 ) .2. Both drugs can distinctly improve the milk amount, from the second day to the fourth day, there was marked difference compared with pretreatment(PO.01). On effect of the milk amount, the rate of recovery of BBCW was 50%, the total effective rate was 97.5%; the rate of recovery of SRLW was 57.5%, the total effective rate was 87.5%. By means of statistics analysis, there was no statistical difference between two groups (P>0.05) .3. Both drugs can distinctly improve correlated symptoms (P<0.01) . There wasn't marked difference between two groups on the same symptom (P>0.05 ) .4. The infant's nude weight of the two groups in everyday morning not only didn't decrease, but also increased obviously from the second day of treatment. By means of statistics analysis, there was no marked difference between pretreatment and post-treatment (P>0.05) .5. Comparing the data before and after the treatment, PRL had the tendency of increase and E2 had the tendency of decrease, there was no statistical difference(P>0.05) .6. Safety inspection: (1)There was no abnormal changes by inspecting blood routine % urine routine, stool routine, liver function?kidney function and ECG before and after the treatment.(2)Comparing with common parturients, the height of fundus of uterus and lochia's changes in patients were normal.(3)Both the infant's growth and the patient's reversion were normal when they were observed from 42 to 60 days after labor. They indicated that BBCW hadn't harmful reaction,and it was safety in the course of clinical application.ConclusionBBCW can effectively treat postpartum hypogalactia (syndrome of asthenia of qi and blood), distinctly improve the milk amount and obviously improve correlated symptoms. It's safe, effective and no harmful reaction.
