ObjectiveThis study tries to observe the clinical effect of Acupuncture combined with moxibustion group in Treating Postpartum hypogalactia, evaluate and analyze the statistics, attempt to increase the lactating of postpartum by this method, improve the associated symptoms, provide reference for the clinical treatment of this disease.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 cas es of postpartum insufficient lactation were collected from 2014 July to 2015 March. Thoese patients who had to be up to the standard of Chinese d isease diagnosis and efficacy (2012) were all collected from the obstetri c and massage department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Un iversity of Chinese Medicine and The massage department of Yuexiu Distric t Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine.60 cases of postpartum insufficient lactation were randomly divided into treatment group and control group。 All the patients had to be taken t he initial care, which including receive education of breast feeding and f eeding positions, reasonable diet, breast care etc.The former, which is the warming acupuncture group, were treated by needling Danzhong(CV17). Shaoze (S11). Qihai(CV6)in horizontal position. Meantime,mild moxibustion was app lied to CV17 and moxa needle therapy was used to CV6. The adjunct acupunct ure points were selected by syndrome differentiation:The patients with d eficiency of Qi and blood were added with Zusanli(ST36), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Guanyuan(CV4);The patients with syndromes of liver-qi stagnation were in creased points, like Neiguan(P6),Taichong(LiV3), Qimen(Liv14);Zusanli (ST 36),Fenglong(S40), Pishu(BL20) were added to the pathogenesis is the phleg in blockage.The latter, which is the herb group, according to syndrome differenti ation, were given appropriate treatment of Chinese medicine. The patients with deficiency of Qi and blood were given Tongrudan. The patients with syndromes of liver-qi stagnation took Xiaruyongquansan. Phlegm blockage p atients drank Cangzhudaotantang.After 1 week of treatments respectively, the volume and frequency of a rtificial feeding, the lactation, the symptoms standard in Chinese medicine were evaluated. The observer record and assess the data before and after treatment.All the data analyzed with SPSS19.0 statistic softy-ware. Measurement data use matched T-test and and X2-test. Rank data use Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test. Determined α=0.05, P<0.05 to be significant diffe rence and P<0.01 to be very significant differenceEvaluation of the clini cal efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion on postpartum hypogalactia pa tients according to the test results.Results(1)The overall curative effect:After 2 courses of treatment,16 cases were cured (57.14%),10 cases were markedly improved (35.71%) and 2 cases were useless (7.14%)in the warming acupuncture group. In contrast, the rate of cure, markedly improved and inefficiency was 27.59%,62.07% and 10.34% respectively. The total efficiency of two groups were 92.86% and 89.66% separately.(2)The efficacy observation target:Compared the factors of the therapy and control group, the therapy group was more effectively than the control group in capacity of artificial feeding and the total score of lactation, But there was no statistical significant in the times of artificial feeding. Two groups both showed significantly statistical in the indexes of the volume of lactation, breast filling degree, the quality of lactation, the congestion of lactation and baby urination each day. The effect of warming-acupuncture group is better than the control group in the aspects of the baby’s situation after lactation.(3)TCM Symptoms observation target:The two groups improved significantly in the indexes of symptoms of fatigue, emotional depression, loss of appetite, constipation. Although some patients had significant improvement of lactation, there were no significant difference in the symptoms of dizziness and Palpitation. In the symptoms of pale and nausea, the acupuncture group had obvious effect while no significant improvement in control group.ConelusionThe results of this study shows that both Acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and Appropriate Chinese medicine have obvious effect in treating Postpartum hypogalactia. Both methods can improve the lactation yield, refine the quality of brest milk, reduce the galactostasis, meet the demand of infant and improve the accompanying symptoms. The Acupuncture combined with moxibustion group and Chinese medicine group both had certain practicability and the statistics showed that the therapy is superior to the control group.
