Clinical Studies Of Herbal Mask To Treat Acne

Purpose:Observing the clinical effect of the facial mask made by Chinese medicinal herb. Generally evaluate the superority when it used to treat acne ally internal treatment of TCM.Material and method:1.Divide the patients who are suffering froming acne into two groups randomly.2.The treatment group (Internal and External Treatment group) includes 30 cases oral taking Xiao CuoWan formula 3 times a day for 3 months and doing Chinese Herbal Mask twice a week. The control group includes 28 cases,taking Xiao CuoWan formula 3 times a day for 3 months.3.Observing indicatrix:to recond the total number of lesions when firstdiagnosed and treatment end.taking notes of adverse reactions.4. Efficacy evaluation method:Clinical criteria reference to the sfficacy criteria on "efficacy criteria and grading standard of acne vulgaris"instituted by Chinese Medical Association dermatology and cosmetology group Oct.1997.Results:1.There is significant difference in the treatment group by calculating the change in the number of lesions.2.There is a significant difference between the treatment group and control group of the therapeutic index after 3 months.Conclusion:1.The Chinese Herbal Mask has good clinical effect on the lesions of acne.2. The Chinese Herbal Mask has its remarkable superority when be used combined with TCM internal treatment.
