Purpose:To observe the effect in treatment of Acupuncture and medicine in patients with Tension-type headache of Liver blood deficiency type.Material and method:Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups: 30 cases of the treatment group(Acupuncture combined with Basic treatment)and 30 cases of the control group(medicine combined with Basic treatment). Both groups were given Shuxuening .The treatment group were treated with eye acupuncture and body acupuncture once a day .The control group were taken oral medication of Ibuprofen Sustained-Release Capsules .The headache intensity, duration of time, headache index, Chinese symptom changes and the determination of the percentage effect of two groups were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.After the treatment ,The total effective of the treatment group was 83.3%,and what of the control group was 76.6%.The comparison within two groups showed significant difference (P<0.05), indicating the clinical efficacy of the treatment group is better.2. The treatment group was more effective than the control group in reducing the number of headache attacks,duration, headache in TCM improving symptoms.3.The treatment of Acupuncture and medicine in patients with Tension-type headache had no obvious adverse reactions.Conclusion:1. In the improvement of TCM and reducing the clinical symptoms of headache,the method of acupuncture has definite effective.2. Acupuncture has no side effects.3. The method is simple and easy to perform,and worthy of clinical use.
