Clinical Study On Tension-type Headache Treated With Removing Heat From The Liver Following Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:The efficacy on Tension-type Headache treated with removing heat from the liver following traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:The test followed randomized,double-blind,control principle.86 cases with TTH were randomized into two groups.The patients of the treatment group(65 cases) were administered with the herbal medicine following removing heat from the liver.The patients of the control group(21 cases) were administered with the placebo. The decoction of Chinese medicine is basically the same as the placebo.The treatment group was given herbal medicine following removing heat from the liver, per 100ml,twice a day;the control group was given a placebo,each 100ml,twice a day;the treatment lasted 4 weeks.Evaluation indicators included the number of headache attacks,the number of days,the extent,duration,TCM-like(the main disease,sub-disease) and so on.The four observations of the above indicators were recorded every two weeks.Statistical Methods:SPSS statistical software analysis,all statistical tests were used both tests,P values less than or equal to 0.05 by the test will be considered statistically significant difference.Result:1.The efficacy of tension-type headache.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.8%,the total effective rate of the control group was 61.9%,the efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P＜0.05);the two groups taking tension-type headache intensity points of comparison at the 4th week, the treatment group's headache attack frequency,headache days,headache duration, the composite score were significantly lower than the control group's(P＜0.05);the two groups taking tension-type headache intensity points of comparison at the 8th week,the treatment group's the degree of headache,VAS score,comprehensive score were significantly lower than the control group's(P≤0.05).2.The improvement of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.8%,the total effective rate of the control group was 71.4%,the efficacy of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P＜0.05);the two groups taking Chinese medicine symptoms Comparison of classification at the 4th week,symptom classification of the treatment group was lighter than the control group(P＜0.05);head pain score,sleep score,symptom score of the comparison,these scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than these of the control group(P＜0.05);the two groups taking comparison of the head pain score at the 8th week,the score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).3.There were no significant adversary reactions in patients during the test process. Some patients were uncomfortable during the test process,but they were able to adhere to the medication.The conventional tests in patients with ECG,liver function and kidney work were normal.Conclusion:the treatment of removing heat form liver on TTH,in reducing the number of headache attacks,duration,headache and improving symptoms is more effective than the control group.At the same time,the safety of Chinese medicine to cure the disease is sure.
