With the improvement of living standards in recent years and changes in environmental factors and human disease spectrum has changed, the growing incidence of diabetes increased. The disease can cause not only carbohydrates, fat, protein metabolism unusuality, but also cause multi-system, multi-organ and systemic damage, including macroangiopathy, microangiopathy, neuropathy, diabetic foot, etc., and complicated by a variety of infection, a serious threat to human health and the heavy burden on society and economy. Or stress in a serious condition can occur under acute metabolic disorders, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar nonketotic diabetic coma , and so on , is an immiediate danger to the lives of patients. Sweating abnormalities in diabetes are diabetic autonomic neuropathy (DAN), is one of the chronic complications of diabetes, very common in clinical practice. Although this disease is more common in the patients of longer duration and poor glycemic control, but also in the sweating abnormalities as the first symptoms in clinical. Usually manifested spontaneous perspiration or night sweating, or both can be seen. As modern medicine the pathogenesis of sweating abnormalities in diabetes has not been perfectly clarified, so there's lack of specific treatment, often only symptomatic treatment. In traditional Chinese medicine, this kind of disease classified as"xiaoke","perspiration syndrome". It is proved that the theory of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment, can often achieve a satisfactory effect. The Chinese medicine treatment is distinctive, and also worthy of further exploration. Professor Li Xiaojuan has engaged in clinical work for more than two decades who has more experience of the treatment of diabetes and its complications. She believes that Sweating abnormalities in diabetes should be treated with the theory of Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment on the basis of blood glucose control, highlighting their respective advantages, in order to lift the suffering out of patients as soon as possible.
